Olé to Your Creative Process (Online art lesson #47)

Here’s  to the “maddening capriciousness of the creative process”!

Watch this video all the way through – the best part comes towards the end.  If you’ve watched it before, well, it’s time to watch it again!  It offers a “protective psychological construct” that could save your day / life.

When you’ve finished with Elizabeth Gilbert, watch the two music videos  and contemplate the nature of the creative process.  Now isn’t that a pleasant assignment?

Ilene, I was having breakfast and planning a post and my intuition shouted out that I needed to use the Elizabeth Gilbert talk which I had listened to when it first came out. I was most grateful for the tip because it would be an easy lesson. I just happened to find the guitar piece later that day on Facebook and thought that it related. I was so struck by it that I went to Youtube to do more research on the group and the song. It all seemed to add up to what I thought was a fascinating lesson. I must say, I listened to the music videos over and over again and still have that song in my head.

  3. A post with the WotE version of Somebody that I used to know is a great post! Fits perfectly with the creativity video of Elizabeth 🙂
