Lillian–That was fantastic! I’m so inspired! Leaving on a trip tomorrow but maybe I’ll work on this in early mornings while away!
I’m loving your blog– and the music!
Thanks Sally! It was a real trip to make – I’ll tell you the story next week.
I hope that you get chance to try it – petting your work up here will be exciting!
Lillian,
This is really inspirational. Can’t wait to get to work. Seeing some of your comments in writing made them seem so profound that I’m still thinking about them!

Thanks for the great comments.
“Roses are red, violets are blue” and better yet, I finally found where I can email YOU! Wasn’t the class filled with so much good energy today? It must have been all those reflective bubbles that your enthusiastic art students were painting not to mention your very intuitive feedback regarding our works of art. Thanks Ms. Lillian.
Your rose drawing video is truly a piece of “Colorado sunshine” taking me down to that final decision of how to better draw.
Dear Lillian,
I just now viewed some of your art lessons and I can’t wait for more. The one about one’s muse preferring an outing or supplies will forever amuse me. Oh, I didn’t mean to do that! See how inspiring you are?
Today’s lesson just freed me to buy my Muse some more Sharpies. I always feel, rather, Felt, that there’s something Wrong with using a Sharpie in watercolors, so I avoided them. Oh boy!

I found your approach to drawing roses very interesting, but too detailed for my way of painting. Having taken a few workshops with Joyce Pike, I was instructed to focus on the outer shape of the rose–very imp., then the rose values –an exciting and impressionistic way to paint roses!
Lovely Lillian YOUR BLOG IS TOTALLY AWESOME + FUN with SPUNKY KICK UP HEELS MUSIC AND A CHARMING MISCHIEVIOUS TEACHER. Not to mention OBVIOUSLY TALENTED!!! Your foray into the cyberspace world is a dance with many new steps unfolding. I like where its going! I love having you in my life. Your blog is a good inspiration to get painting again. Who’d have thunk it, daffodiles and tea cups! THANK YOU Oxoxo Elizabeth
